Wee Tid Bit About Me

I’m a twenty-something who has worked a wide variety of jobs over the last ten years while focusing all my extra income on traveling. The theme of all my jobs has been managing details & organizing. Currently, I’m working in logistics for an organic, vegan hair color company and pouring every bit of extra love I have into travel planning. I live with my amazing boyfriend and our two super fluffy cats.

My love of travel started when I first went to Germany at age 14 with my grandmother and was intensified after I did a program through Semester at Sea. SAS is a study abroad program that went to 13 cities in many countries on a small cruise ship. It was life-changing. I experienced so much in that 2 month period and I have not stopped exploring since!

 FAQs

  • Simply put, you hire a travel expert because you don’t have the time to plan yourself or you don’t feel comfortable trying to plan yourself.

Time and time again, I hear how overwhelmed people are by planning trips, especially out of the country. There is a lot of information out there. Many people choose cruises or all-inclusive resorts because it’s one price and requires little to no planning. However, I can help make any other style of trip just as easy by doing the research for you! You pick the destination, you send me inspiration pics or any ideas you’ve picked up off the internet, and I will help you make it happen.

  • There are two main things that set my services apart from a traditional travel agent.

    1. No Kickbacks!! A traditional travel agent typically gets paid out through booking deals/commissions from vendors (hotels, activity companies, airlines). This tends to be big-name brands at higher price points. I believe travel should be a bit more personal. You invest in an itinerary package with me and I invest my energy into finding great deals with whatever company I find that fits your personality or criteria. This also gives us the opportunity to support small businesses or locals, which is something I stand behind.

    2. You do the booking!! I do not handle any credit cards or actual bookings. I provide you exactly what you need to click through links and book on your own accounts, get your own points, and have the control you’ll need when you are actually on the trip.

  • Yes, absolutely! I love to research new places and with my experience of digging through the internet to get all the logistics info and local tips, I could plan a trip anywhere. Everything I offer is a suggestion that I would personally book myself.

  • While blog posts are great, the information can still overwhelm people who aren’t used to planning. My goal is to build a trip around your specific wants/needs, not around someone else’s experience. Every person has a different travel style and everyone deserves a trip that works exactly for them instead of against them!

  • For most people, a honeymoon is set apart from other experiences. It’s a special time and you deserve special treatment! The honeymoon package comes with more face (or phone) time for us to discuss and plan because sometimes people really need that extra support, especially when already planning a wedding. There’s also a focus on more intimate reservations such as couples-only hotels or the perfect date night restaurants.

  • 3-6 months. If budget is a concern, the more time the better. Less time equals less options.

  • Personally, 7+ years. Professionally, 4 years.

Let’s do this!
